About this role

Rondo is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and scale-up of assembly processes for their modular thermal battery system. This role involves partnering with design and supply chain teams to build robust, data-driven manufacturing solutions that ensure quality, cost efficiency, and high throughput. The candidate will define tooling requirements, drive design for manufacturability, and manage module-level manufacturing costing to support global production.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate assembly processes from prototype through scaled production
Build virtual process models using simulation tools and value stream mapping
Define and implement tooling, jigs, and process automation for high-yield assembly
Own module-level manufacturing costing including CAPEX, OPEX, and throughput analysis
Collaborate with design engineering to influence product architecture via DFM/DFA input
