Senior Materials Engineer – Testing & Structural Materials

Aalo Atomics is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to lead materials testing and structural materials degradation activities for the design, qualification, and operation of the Aalo-X microreactor. The role involves developing and executing materials testing programs, providing technical leadership for stainless steels and structural metallic materials, and supporting engineering analyses and safety evaluations. This position requires translating materials behavior into defensible engineering inputs and degradation models to ensure reactor safety and performance.
