About this role

A Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant supports UNHCR in generating rigorous evidence on results and beneficiary situations to drive planning, reporting, and advocacy. The role involves coordinating evaluations, developing multi-year M&E plans, facilitating communication between field operations and regional teams, and ensuring compliance with data protection standards. This position collaborates closely with Information Management colleagues, Evaluation teams, and Result Managers within the Regional Bureau and Headquarters.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing multi-year M&E plans and frameworks.
Coordinate primary data collection exercises and assessments.
Support participatory approaches to monitoring and evaluation.
Compile and maintain evidence bases for evaluations and reporting.
Facilitate communication between field operations and regional evaluation teams.
