Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Pulsed Power & Experimental Systems

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer provides hands-on mechanical and opto-electro-mechanical design support for complex experimental, pulsed power, and high-voltage hardware at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The role involves translating conceptual requirements into detailed 3D models and drawings, supporting hardware through the full design lifecycle, and coordinating with fabrication vendors and internal stakeholders. This position requires a strong background in precision mechanical design, GD&T, and manufacturing within a fast-paced technical environment.
