Senior Mechanical Engineer – Power & Energy Facilities

Salas O'Brien is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design and engineering of mechanical systems for power generation buildings, substations, energy storage facilities, data centers, and industrial/utility infrastructure projects. The role serves as the Engineer of Record, leading mechanical system design, analysis, and coordination within multi-discipline teams while mentoring junior engineers and supporting quality assurance. This position focuses on power piping, balance-of-plant systems, and process mechanical systems for clients across the Midwest and beyond.
