About this role

The Senior Principal Systems Engineer, Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) supports the GLOBUS program by sustaining and advancing a dual-band radar architecture that combines modern S-Band phased array hardware with an upgraded legacy X-Band system. This role requires deep expertise in radar and signal processing to analyze RF behavior, integrate digital beamforming, and resolve complex system-level issues across hardware and software. The position is based onsite in Woburn, MA, and involves collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure coherent long-term sensor sustainment.

Responsibilities

Sustain and enhance dual-band S-Band/X-Band radar performance
Analyze RF behavior, array calibration, and microwave dynamics
Integrate and validate digital beamforming and DREX chains
