Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Telemetry & Flight Termination Systems Engineer to serve as a technical authority and drive the strategic architecture of next-generation telemetry and flight termination systems. This role involves leading cross-functional engineering teams, managing high-criticality hardware as the Responsible Engineering Authority, and defining technology roadmaps for mixed-signal effector electronics. The engineer will oversee requirements, compliance documentation, and supplier engagements while adhering to rigorous DoD, FCC, and NSA standards.

Responsibilities

Serve as chief technical lead for telemetry and flight termination architectures
Act as Responsible Engineering Authority for high-criticality hardware systems
Lead major design efforts from concept through integration and mission support
Define and champion technology roadmaps for mixed-signal effector electronics
Mentor engineering teams and guide best practices across the department
