About this role

The Senior Program Officer will support the technical implementation of a three-year community solar water pumping project in Ethiopia, based in Addis Ababa with regular travel to prospective pilot communities. The role involves assessing readiness for solarization of existing diesel water pumps, coordinating with local governments and private developers, and supporting project monitoring and capacity-building activities. The position contributes to scaling a lease-to-own business model across 30 pilot sites and strengthening market actors toward commercialization.
