About this role

This role requires a Principal or Senior Quality Engineer to support the development of nitinol heart implant components within the Metals Process Engineering Group. The incumbent will lead the creation and optimization of material characterization, testing methods, and inspection processes while driving process validation and risk management. Key duties include resolving complex quality issues, managing design transfers to international sites, and mentoring engineers on advanced quality principles.

Responsibilities

Lead identification and optimization of complex material characterization testing methods.
Drive development and execution of process validations including IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing product quality and compliance issues.
Provide training and mentorship on quality engineering principles to other engineers.
Develop technical content for risk management documentation and FMEAs.
