The role involves generating manufacturing-ready documentation, collaborating with production teams on design for manufacturability, and leading projects from concept through prototyping and release.

Responsibilities

Develop 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for sheet metal components
Generate manufacturing-ready documentation including bills of materials and specifications
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design performance
Support prototyping and pilot builds to resolve fit, form, and function issues
Perform tolerance stack-ups and basic design calculations to validate designs

Skills

Qualifications

Associate's degree in drafting, design, or related technical field5+ years of mechanical experience in drafting/design
