Senior Research Associate

The Senior Research Associate will lead key analyses within the EXTREME-FUTURES project, focusing on developing a seamless framework for predicting hydroclimatic extremes across weather-to-climate timescales. The role involves identifying extreme and compound events, investigating causal pathways between climate drivers and atmospheric features, and developing statistical and AI/ML approaches to enhance predictive capabilities. This position requires collaboration with international partners to advance research on persistent and connected extremes such as heatwaves, floods, and storms.
