About this role

The Senior Revenue Accountant at Vanta is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and the evolution of accounting operations, focusing on areas such as revenue reconciliations, contract reviews, and commission accruals. This role involves preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP, collaborating with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Legal, etc.) to streamline processes, and identifying areas for system optimization and automation. The position requires 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience and strong knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606) in a high-growth environment.
