About this role

The Senior Scientist position in the Cremins lab focuses on integrative spatial biology research to understand chromatin-to-synapse communication during neural circuit activation in the mammalian brain. The lab combines molecular chromosome-conformation-capture sequencing, single-cell imaging, optogenetics, genome engineering, iPSC-derived neurons/organoids, and electrophysiology to study chromatin architecture and its role in neuronal specification and synaptic plasticity. The group emphasizes multidisciplinary training and mentorship to develop computational and molecular scientists.
