About this role

As the Senior GRC Security Lead at Gong, you will architect the company's foundational governance, risk, and compliance programs from the ground up, including the creation of a Common Controls Framework and a formal risk register. This high-visibility role involves building GRC tooling ecosystems, defining risk taxonomies, and partnering with Engineering, Legal, and executive stakeholders to embed security controls and manage policy lifecycles in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a Common Controls Framework mapping across multiple security standards
Build Gong's product and enterprise risk register from the ground up
Partner with Engineering to embed security controls at the architecture level
Lead product and enterprise risk assessments with risk quantification methodologies
Manage the full lifecycle of information security policies and exception programs
