The Senior SMT Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit board assemblies. This role serves as a subject matter expert on SMT processes, providing technical guidance to operators and supporting new product introductions to ensure production goals and quality standards are met. The position involves leading troubleshooting efforts, assisting with process improvements, and training team members on equipment operation and best practices.

Responsibilities

Set up and optimize SMT production equipment including screen printers and pick-and-place machines
Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maximize throughput
Train and mentor SMT Operators on equipment operation, setup procedures, and quality standards
