Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform

The Data Platform team builds and operates systems that centralize all of Coinbase's internal and third-party data, enabling teams across the company to access, process, and transform it for analytics, machine learning, and end-user experiences. As a senior engineer, you will work across the full stack of these systems, including foundational processing, storage, scalable pipelines, and internal tools. This role involves designing and operating foundational data services, building data integration SDKs, and creating self-service tools for data pipeline management. You will also develop services for data security, observability, quality, cataloging, and lineage while turning requests from various teams into reusable, scalable patterns.
