The Senior Software Engineer – Embedded Linux Platform designs, develops, and maintains software for Checkpoint's embedded Linux-based devices, including RFID readers and edge computing platforms. This role focuses on Linux application and platform software, working across services, microservices, APIs, and cloud integration to build reliable software that interfaces with physical hardware and cloud services. The position requires strong ownership, technical judgment, and the ability to mentor less experienced engineers while remaining hands-on in design and validation.
