About this role

A Senior Platform Engineer at Super.com owns and extends the internal tooling used by engineers to build, ship, and maintain products, with a specific focus on AI infrastructure and enablement. As the team's first dedicated Platform Engineer, this role involves a software-first approach to solving infrastructure challenges through automation, self-serve tooling development, and deploying autonomous agentic systems within AWS and Kubernetes environments. The individual will act as a technical leader in designing new DevOps solutions, improve DORA metrics, and provide direct support and mentorship to other engineers and interns.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain internal developer platforms with self-serve infrastructure capabilities
Manage and extend cloud infrastructure including Kubernetes and databases
Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and system reliability
Mentor interns and facilitate knowledge sharing through documentation and guilds
Drive strategic infrastructure roadmap discussions and cross-team collaboration
