About this role
The Wikimedia Foundation seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Privacy) to join the Product Safety and Integrity team to build security and privacy features for MediaWiki and other projects. This hands-on role focuses on designing and implementing features that protect users, support modern authentication, and keep the platform resilient against abuse and emerging threats. The position is remote-first and aligned with Wikimedia’s mission to provide free knowledge worldwide.
