About this role

ENSCO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide systems engineering, integration, and test leadership for the Space Force’s Space System Command. The role involves coordinating with government mission leaders and prime contractors to define mission use cases, manage software requirements, and oversee secure software integration into restricted DoD environments. This position requires driving continuous improvement in integration reliability and mentoring engineers on secure integration patterns and defense software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering analysis and SE&I leadership for secure software applications supporting DoD mission planning
Serve as the Government technical integrator across software elements ensuring interoperability and operational alignment
Develop and manage software interface requirements and technical artifacts for prime contractors and stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, or related disciplineAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance
