Senior Software Systems Engineer - Software Health and Complexity

This role on the Software Systems Engineering team focuses on creating and maintaining methodologies, tools, and processes for safety-critical software in autonomous vehicles. The engineer works across the software organization, from AI autonomy to RTOS and middleware components, to ensure software meets a rigorous safety bar. The position leverages principles from avionics, automotive, and other safety-critical industries to define formal behaviors and verification approaches. It contributes directly to enabling Zoox’s fully autonomous vehicle fleet and mobility-as-a-service ecosystem.
