The Senior Specialist serves as the subject matter expert on Distributed Energy Resources (DER) interconnection, assessing customer and company impacts to support clean technology and renewable energy policy initiatives. The role involves ensuring compliance with NY SIR and NJ mandates, managing special projects, and providing economic analysis from both corporate and customer perspectives. Additionally, the specialist acts as the subject matter expert on the Interconnection Online Portal (IOAP) and DER reporting, while supervising contractors and participating in emergency management processes.
