Zoox designs and builds purpose‑built, bidirectional electric robotaxis and the full autonomy stack — hardware, sensors, and software — to enable on‑demand, driverless ride‑hailing. The company takes a safety‑first, rider‑focused approach, engineering vehicles from the ground up for urban, zero‑emission mobility rather than adapting passenger cars. Acquired by Amazon in 2020, Zoox is working to commercialize a complete autonomous mobility service that rethinks ride‑hailing for riders instead of drivers.
