Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer to lead safety activities throughout the product lifecycle for advanced unmanned aircraft systems. The role involves developing safety architectures, conducting comprehensive analyses like FHA and FTA, and engaging directly with customers on high-level safety reviews. This position focuses on driving compliance with rigorous military standards, managing risk mitigation, and ensuring safety integrity across complex flight systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain System Safety Program Plan and safety architecture documentation
Lead Functional Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and System Safety Assessments
Identify and manage hazards, risks, and mitigation measures throughout the lifecycle
Lead customer System Safety Reviews and Panels including THAR and NNMSB engagements
Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-882E and other applicable safety standards

Qualifications
