About this role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to develop and debug system software for the Halos safety platform across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor environments. The role involves designing BSP, boot, driver, and networking components for NVIDIA edge AI platforms, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 standards, and leveraging formal methods and AI‑assisted tools to deliver high‑integrity, mixed‑criticality software.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop system software for NVIDIA Halos across QNX, Linux, and hypervisor environments
Design and implement BSP, boot loaders, drivers, and platform software for NVIDIA SoCs
Develop safe and secure software in compliance with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 standards
Bring up, optimize, and integrate next‑generation NVIDIA platforms with ASIC, firmware, and security teams
Apply formal methods and AI‑assisted tools to create high‑integrity code and accelerate debugging
