About this role

Helsing is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the technical definition, design, and integration of an airborne Emitter Location System with Electronic Support and Electronic Warfare capabilities. The role focuses on the complete direction-finding chain, spanning antenna-array architecture, signal processing, and system-level co-design with Radar Warning Receivers. This position requires deep expertise in the intersection of antenna engineering, radar signal processing, and aircraft integration to solve complex defence problems.

Responsibilities

Define architecture and system-level requirements for airborne Emitter Location Systems
Develop and assess antenna-array concepts for direction finding applications
Determine antenna element placement and geometry on aircraft platforms
Analyze array performance across required frequency ranges and environmental factors
Balance direction-finding accuracy with platform size and installation constraints
