About this role

The Senior Technical Advisor – Zoonotic Diseases and Surveillance provides senior-level technical leadership and operational support for design and implementation of zoonotic disease prevention, integrated surveillance, early warning, and outbreak detection activities under the EpiC/GHS workplan in the Philippines. The role translates national strategies and policies into applied, field-level systems that strengthen detection, verification, and response at the human–animal–environment interface. The advisor works closely with national and subnational counterparts to ensure activities align with national priorities and international standards.
