Sexual Assault Coordinator

About this role

Responsibilities

• Provide direct advocacy, assistance, and follow-up to victims/secondary victims of sexual assault, including crisis intervention services, intakes/assessments, legal advocacy services, victim accompaniments, and safety planning.
• Assist Residential and Non-Residential sexual assault clients in determining and meeting their needs through collaborations, partnerships, and resource sharing.
• Establish positive working relationships with police, hospitals, schools, and criminal justice systems to offer support and bring education and awareness regarding sexual violence.
• Rotate in performing sexual assault emergency and non-emergency accompaniments to court, medical, and law enforcement agencies.
• Represent the agency within the Sexual Assault Response Teams in all counties served.
