Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Sheet Metal Fabricator prepares, fabricates, and cuts metal products for assembly using various tools and machines, including presses, shears, saws, and lathes. This role involves working on machines to prepare steel metal products for power packaging units and moving equipment and materials with a forklift. The position requires laying out and examining metal stock to ensure specifications are met, setting up specialized equipment, and reading shop drawings and blueprints. The fabricator is also responsible for cleaning and lubricating machines and cross-training in welding and metalworking techniques when appropriate.
