Shellfish Aquaculture Research Farm Intern

The Shellfish Aquaculture Research Farm Intern is a temporary, learning-focused internship at William & Mary’s Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) providing hands-on exposure to shellfish aquaculture research and farm operations at the Gloucester Point campus. The role is designed as an apprenticeship-style position for workforce development, offering mentoring and professional development to prepare individuals for future employment or academic pathways in shellfish aquaculture and related fields. The position is part of the Commercial Shellfish Aquaculture Lab and supports the Shellfish Aquaculture Program’s mission to advance sustainable shellfish production through applied research and education.
