About Connecticut Humane Society

cthumane.org

Connecticut Humane Society is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in Connecticut, a private charity founded in 1881. It helps thousands of pets each year through adoption, sheltering, veterinary care, and community programs designed to keep pets healthy and in homes. The organization’s vision is a Connecticut where every companion animal finds a permanent, compassionate home, communities are enriched by the human–animal bond, and animal cruelty no longer exists.
