About this role

The Shift Engineer performs scheduled inspections, BMS monitoring, preventive maintenance, and first-line incident response within the data centre. The role maintains accurate records, monitors critical M&E and cooling systems, and supports safe and stable operations under the direction of the Shift Lead or Facilities Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have hands-on M&E facilities experience, strong attention to detail and disciplined adherence to approved MOP, SOP, EOP, PTW, access-control and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled inspections and monitor BMS systems for data centre operations
Execute preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Respond to alarms and incidents while maintaining accurate operational records
