Shipping Operator

The Shipping Operator is responsible for maintaining the efficient flow of materials within the shipping and receiving department by safely and accurately handling, inspecting, and staging materials for shipment. This role involves operating heavy equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and transfer buggies to move and process materials within a steel manufacturing facility. The position requires interpreting processing orders, managing inventory through RF scanners, and ensuring all materials meet quality standards before dispatch.
