Short-Term Gas Trader

The Short-Term Gas Trader manages and optimizes RWE’s natural gas positions across North American markets, operating at the intersection of market fundamentals, trading, scheduling, and risk management. This high-visibility role involves monitoring market developments, assessing supply and demand fundamentals, and actively managing short-term gas positions to maximize commercial value while maintaining disciplined risk management. The position requires close collaboration with scheduling, origination, analytics, and power trading teams to optimize physical flows and respond to changing system conditions.
