About this role

The Shunting & Train Movement Manager (STMM) QTMP is responsible for the safe planning, coordination, and operational control of rollingstock movements and rail activities at the Torbanlea Manufacturing Facility. This role involves leading the shunting team, managing yard and stabling activities, and overseeing safety processes such as Permit-to-Work and isolation procedures. The position requires ensuring compliance with rail safety laws and coordinating with Queensland Rail for train arrivals, departures, and handovers.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate rollingstock movements and rail activities across the manufacturing facility
Lead the shunting team and oversee safety processes including permits and isolations
Manage yard operations, train arrivals, departures, and handover with Queensland Rail
