Sign Language Educational Interpreter

The Sign Language Educational Interpreter facilitates communication between deaf or hard of hearing students and their hearing peers, teachers, and staff within the educational environment. This role involves providing expressive and voice interpreting services, including American Sign Language and oral interpreting, to ensure students can access instruction and participate in school activities. The interpreter also supports students through tutoring, notetaking, and reinforcing material introduced by teachers while maintaining confidentiality and participating in educational team meetings.
