Sign Language Interpreter

This part-time, on-call substitute position involves acting as a communicator between students and teachers in mainstream classrooms, interpreting educational information and instructions into total communication such as sign language. The role requires translating subject matter and academic concepts for deaf and hard of hearing students while maintaining confidentiality and supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Programs. The interpreter serves as a liaison between administration, staff, and regular classroom teachers to facilitate effective learning environments.
