A Simulation Engineer at Inversion develops and maintains simulation environments to validate advanced spacecraft reentry systems and flight software. The role involves integrating guidance, navigation, and control algorithms while supporting Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing pipelines. Candidates will work within a team to bridge software and hardware verification for hypersonic delivery platforms operating in Low-Earth Orbit.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain simulation models for spacecraft subsystems and environmental dynamics
Execute and automate Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing runs
Integrate guidance navigation and control algorithms into the core simulation platform
Maintain simulation backend infrastructure including high-performance computing nodes
Document simulation setups to enable self-service workflows for product engineering teams
