About this role

Ascend Performance Materials is seeking a Simulation Engineer specializing in injection molding simulation to support product development, material selection, and customer applications involving polyamide materials. The role involves conducting process simulations using Autodesk Moldflow to optimize part and mold designs, troubleshoot molding issues, and accelerate successful product launches. This in-person position is based in Chennai, India, and reports to the Global Application Development Manager.

Responsibilities

Conduct injection molding simulations to predict and optimize processing performance
Evaluate part designs and mold configurations to improve manufacturability and quality
Validate simulation results with molding trials and production data to enhance accuracy

Skills

Qualifications

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
