About this role

As a Software Engineer on the Simulator Team, you will build and improve core simulation infrastructure for Cerebras' next-generation Wafer-Scale Engine. This role involves developing simulator architecture, model development, and tooling to help hardware and software teams validate architectural behavior and optimize performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure simulators are accurate, scalable, and useful for day-to-day engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain simulator infrastructure in C++ for next-generation systems
Contribute to functional and pipeline-accurate simulation efforts
Build features and tooling to improve kernel developer visibility
Work with design verification teams to align simulator behavior with hardware specs
Debug complex issues spanning simulator models, kernels, and hardware assumptions
