About this role

The Simulation Platform Engineer at Stand is responsible for owning and enhancing the simulation and digital twin platform that supports the company's climate risk modeling workflows. This role includes managing production simulation pipelines, ensuring infrastructure and CI/CD reliability, and developing new digital twin capabilities, particularly for various peril scenarios like hurricanes. The engineer will collaborate closely with physics simulation engineers and machine learning experts to maintain scalable, reliable pipelines while processing geospatial data and implementing automated workflows. Candidates should have over five years of experience in building production-grade pipelines and a strong understanding of simulation and machine learning systems.
