RTX is seeking a Site Construction Engineer to serve as the onsite lead for a Satellite Communications ground station construction project in San Miguel, California. The role involves overseeing full-time execution of construction activities, commissioning, and testing while acting as the primary interface between Raytheon, subcontractors, federal customers, and program management. This 14-month assignment requires ensuring safe, compliant, and technically sound delivery at Camp Roberts National Guard Base.

Responsibilities

Oversee all onsite construction activities and serve as the primary customer-facing representative
Coordinate engineering resources to execute Site Acceptance Tests and commission scope of work
Lead design reviews with design teams, contractors, and government stakeholders
Manage change orders, proposals, and budgets for federal customers
Document construction-related risks and deliver progress reports to program leadership
