Sitter

This non-clinical role provides one-on-one observation and safety monitoring for patients at risk for falls, elopement, or behavioral issues, ensuring their well-being through direct or virtual supervision. The position involves assisting with basic patient needs, engaging in therapeutic communication, and maintaining a safe environment while collaborating with the healthcare team. The sitter is also responsible for transporting patients and documenting care activities in the electronic health record.
