About this role

This is a specialized fellowship role for active duty military members transitioning from Electronics, Electrician, or HVAC backgrounds to a civilian career in data center critical facilities. Participants will gain real-world industry qualifications, build competencies in facility maintenance and infrastructure management, and shape their future within Equinix's digital infrastructure environment. The program is designed to help military service members leverage their technical experience while supporting national warfighter connectivity initiatives.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility components
Monitor building monitoring systems and resolve alarm issues
Operate and maintain plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems
Conduct site inspections and complete required maintenance logs
Troubleshoot and maintain auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime
