Skilled Emergency Service Dispatcher

This position involves receiving and processing emergency 911 and non-emergency requests for Police or Fire Department assistance, determining the nature and urgency of calls, and initiating appropriate emergency personnel action. The role requires maintaining close contact with field units to monitor responses and support requirements while acting as a central switchboard operator for public safety communications. Candidates must successfully complete a virtual CritiCall examination and meet specific certification requirements to be placed on the Dispatcher Eligibility List.
