PETA Foundation
PETA is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging, emotionally evocative content for its highly active social media presence across platforms like X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The role involves collaborating with the social team to strategize and create compelling posts that raise awareness for animal rights and drive audience engagement. The position requires analyzing content performance, staying current with social media trends, and occasionally posting urgent news or creating on-location content. This fully remote role demands strong writing skills, adaptability, and a commitment to PETA's mission and vegan lifestyle.
The Foundation to Support Animal Protection (FSAP), also known as the PETA Foundation, is a nonprofit established in 1993 to provide administrative, legal, accounting, creative, and technology support services to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and certain other charitable animal‑protection organizations. FSAP manages back‑office functions such as employee benefits, database management, accounting, legal services, and creative consultation so advocacy groups can focus on campaigns and outreach. PETA, the organization FSAP supports, is the world’s largest animal‑rights organization with more than 10.4 million members and supporters and campaigns against speciesism across areas including laboratories, the food industry, clothing, and entertainment through investigations, public education, rescues, legislation, and public events.
