Social Work/Counseling Intern (Inpatient)

Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is seeking an empathetic and dedicated Social Work/Counseling Intern to positively impact the mental well-being of individuals through clinical and psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and skills-based groups. The intern will assist licensed clinicians with determining levels of care, initiating admissions, and scheduling aftercare appointments for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients. This on-site internship requires a commitment of at least two full semesters and involves participation in social services, outpatient, and intake department activities.
