About this role

Software Developer – Engineering Applications at PHINIA is responsible for building, enhancing, and sustaining software solutions across PHINIA’s engineering IT landscape. The primary focus areas are OpenLM license management, Teexma (requirements/ALM), and the broader ALM/ECAD domain with a mandate to develop internal utilities, automations, services, and analytics capabilities that improve operational performance and reduce friction for engineering users.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software components — services, scripts, utilities, and automations — that support engineering applications with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and production quality.
Own and evolve PHINIA’s OpenLM implementation: configuration integrity, data quality, and operational health of the license management environment.
Provide technical support and continuous improvement for Teexma, covering application configuration, automation of repetitive workflows, and resolution of technical issues.
Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and validation logic that enables reporting and operational insights across engineering application datasets.
Maintain production systems with a bias toward stability: incident triage, root cause analysis, and lasting fixes rather than workarounds.
