Path Robotics builds Intelligent Welding Cells — integrated robotic welding systems powered by its Obsidian-1 AI — to automate metal fabrication and address the skilled labor shortage in manufacturing. Their cells combine robotics, machine vision, and autonomous welding software to deliver up to 4x productivity and roughly 30% lower cost with options that can require no upfront capex. The company focuses on making welding automation easy to deploy across industries that rely on high-volume or complex weld production. Founded in 2018, Path offers demos and customer support to accelerate shop-floor adoption.
