About this role

Figma is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and evolve shared Ruby frameworks for REST APIs, asynchronous jobs, and workflow orchestration. The role focuses on improving the availability, reliability, and scalability of backend systems while modernizing a large Ruby codebase. The engineer will partner with product and Infrastructure teams to identify recurring pain points and turn them into reusable platform capabilities.
